I'm Nihal, an electronics engineering graduate based in Hatfield. I currently work as an HVAC Designer at SRPM Consulting, where I translate client requirements into practical, buildable solutions — from early-stage discussions and design calculations to drawings, coordination, and site work. A big part of my role involves working closely with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure projects move forward clearly and efficiently.

What I enjoy most is the consulting side of the work. It’s not just about the technical design, but understanding the problem behind the brief, navigating constraints, and helping clients make informed decisions. Whether it's resolving a design challenge or explaining a technical trade-off in a straightforward way, I find that balance between problem-solving and communication the most rewarding.

Before this, I completed my MSc in Electronics Engineering at the University of Hertfordshire, where my thesis focused on applying machine learning to improve vehicle-to-vehicle networks. Although the domain was different, the core approach remains the same — break down complex problems, think critically, and deliver solutions that are both practical and effective.
